Lesaffre celebrates – giving life to dough for 170 years

Lesaffre has been a key global player in fermentation for 170 years, with a turnover of €2.7 billion and operations on every continent. It employs 11,000 staff and more than 90 nationalities. It is a living organism whose past is as important as its future.

Based on our many years of experience, we work together with our customers, partners and researchers to find answers to today’s challenges and needs in the areas of food, health and respect for the environment. Every day we explore and discover the endless potential of microorganisms and yeasts.

These 170 years represent a milestone when we can all – employees and partners – celebrate the achievements of the past and look forward to the years ahead.
